Performing a Master reset Garmin Quest will erase all way points and restore the device to default factory settings. Follow this steps:
- Turn Power off
- Press and hold the Page and OK buttons simultaneously
- While holding the Page and OK buttons, power the device ON
- Release the Page and OK buttons when you see the message, “Would you like to erase all user data”
- Select Yes
- Press the OK button
The device will power off and back on automatically. You’ll be asked to enter your language and time preferences once it powers on again.
After the Quest is set up, place your device in an area with a clear view of the sky until it acquires satellites.
Performing soft reset
If your Garmin hang or does not responding press power buttons about 10 seconds.
